Stories of the old Hacker place and the inhabitants which supposedly continue to dwell there haunt the small town of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina to this day. Second-hand tales of heinous murders, vile experiments, and paranormal occurences have long piqued the curiousity of townspeople, many of whom have dared to seek the truth. Few of them have come back alive. Locals say the land is cursed, marked by the innocent blood of Native Americans slaughtered by vengeful settlers and buried in shallow graves in the field where the house stands. Ever since, anyone who has dared to attempt to live on the property has been driven to madness, consumed by a lust for death and devastation unlike any other. When Dr. Johnas Hacker claimed the property sometime in the late 1920s, the reputation of these unhallowed grounds took on a new fearsome face. Dr. Hacker, and those who came after him, were known for abducting townspeople and subjecting them to horrific reanimation experiments after gruesomely slaughtering them. These bloodthirsty revenants are still believed to roam the grounds, with some continuing to carry on the horrible experiments of the Hacker Family. Today, the house is a destination for tourists who dare to see if the old legends are true. Many are rarely heard from again. Will you be one of the lucky ones? There’s only one way to find out…
